It may be rainy outside but in the shop we are celebrating spring! Thanks again to Sarah for all the great photos!

A couple of weeks ago we were fortunate to have Sarah Winchester in town to take some updated pictures of the shop. I always LOVE when Sarah can get her creative eye behind the lens because she captures things so much better than I possibly can. Sarah has a fabulous blog of her own that you need to check out if you haven't already. This grouping shows some of our display beds and accessories. Next post I will show you some fun spring stuff we did around the shop...Hope you like!

You know Stan. He's the man behind this much blogged about home...
This weekend in Atlanta you have the opportunity to see inside five of architect Stan Dixon's homes. The tour takes place in beautiful Brookwood Hills, the architects own neighborhood. Gramercy is proud to be a sponsor of this event with proceeds from the tour going to Chidren's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Brookwood Hills Transformations Tour of Homes
Saturday, March 26th
10 am - 4 pm
For detailed information on the event, please go here.
Stan Dixon is also the architect working with Holly (of Things That Inspire Blog) on her new home. She has wonderful posts about his work if you want a little more history.
I'm a white house kind of girl but this one could tempt me to change my mind.
Betty Burgess designed this Stan Dixon home featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. Check out those coffered ceilings!
Stunning staircase featured on Things That Inspire.
I pulled this image from a real estate listing of one of the homes that will be on tour this weekend. Loving all that light pouring into the room.
The Gramercy Girls have a soft spot for Stan. Cam is using him for her upcoming home renovation. Another friend is close to complete on her renovation and she can't say enough good things about Stan's work. I can't say enough good things about how amazing the home is...
but a picture is worth a thousand words so I'll be sure to share those with you soon.

Oh Joy! Dempsey and Carroll recently collaborated with Madeline Weinrib to offer beautiful and fresh stationary. My favorite is the Isabelle in Geranium. I really want these. You can personalize if you order 50 or more. Tempting.
Speaking of Madeline...we just ordered several new rugs for the shop. If you can't live without any of these you can pre-order. Just let us know.

I've been wanting to show you a peek inside Cam's home for quite a while now. However, I temporarily lost these great images and was very sad. Now, all is right in the world and I can share some images that are truly Gramercy (recognize those pillows??). The funny part? Cam doesn't even live here anymore! This is her old home. Just imagine how long it will take me to get pics from her new abode!
One of our custom headboards with some great Matouk and Ferran linens. I also love the built in window seat and cabinets on the sunny side of the room!
Every master bath needs a little Madeline.
I saved the best for last. Little Whit's nursery. I love, love, love it!!! No detail left untouched.
Are you done drooling yet?

I recently posted about a Long Island home designed by Amanda Nisbet that featured an inspiring mix of color and texture. My favorite element, however, was the use of lavender in the master bedroom. I am always drawn to her bedrooms and I finally figured out why - Amanda frequently uses this lovely shade of lavender in the boudoir. The velvet bed (above) looks so great paired with different shades of blue.
A classic look in a soothing hue.
A very familiar room that was all over the blogosphere a while ago.
A contemporary twist.
The bright colors of this room are grounded by the linen headboard, soft rug, and natural-luxe accessories.
Which one is your favorite?
