I feel like I've been seeing a lot more images of beds that have a more "beadspread" feel, than a fluffy duvet feel. A sort of updated beadspread for the new century.
For those not needing the extra warmth, or who like a more layered approach the modern twist on bedspreads is a great option. The bedspread we showcased in the shop (see original post here) got some serious attention so I'm most curious to see how things transition over the next few years.

Thanks for sharing! I think it depends on the style of bed/bed frame, but it definitely works best on poster beds or antique, French style designs.
I am thinking of using two different solid quilts for our bed in the mountains...duvets are a pain to put on and the crispness doesn't last long.
