Something's Gotta Give...Again!

Before you get too excited, I'm not talking about a sequel to the movie, just a sequel to the home design. Or, should I say 100-quel (whatever that would spell).  The home in the movie, Something's Gotta Give, is one of the most copied (inspired) homes the past several years.  It's no wonder why!

I was impressed by the most recent version in June's Traditional Home.
Let's start the tour...
Nothing like a grand foyer to say "Welcome!"
Fabulous kitchen with large island, lots of windows, and dark floors a gourmet chef does make.
Pre-dinner drinks on the veranda always delight...
before dining alfresco in disappearing sunlight.
A great back up space if rain or weather don't allow for outdoor dining.

After dinner it's time to retire to the family room for a movie, popcorn and fire.
Before going down for slumber it's time to soak in this luxurious tub.  I'd surely turn to a prune never wanting to get out of this beauty.
Finally time to rest your head on a nice fluffy pillow.

Wake up, repeat!

Love the look but can't do an entire renovation? Check out Kelly Market's post on channeling this style in small ways.
