We are all in a flutter over these butterfly pillows.
Big fan of the contrasting back and colored piping. Hurry before these "fly" away...
Velvet and linen and blue and wonderful.
Masculine metallic pinstripe. We have a lot of new throws in the shop, as well.
So cozy for fall in chocolate, tan and orange.

More bath goodies.
Mercury lamp and lots of fun frames.
Greek key and green lamps
Pair of perfect pink lamps - I heart these bunches.
Mirror, mirror on the wall.
Sometimes it's the little things that get us excited. We had a new work space built at the middle of the shop. While we'll miss the awesome farm table that Liz so graciously let us use, we will enjoy the extra height and...
storage space!
It's all coming together.
In the works - new display built-ins at back of shop to finally get our PJ's displayed prominently.
Happy Hump Day!

Big news! An exciting collaboration and new shop
Introducing....
MATOUK by gramercy home will be a pop-up shop located in Atlanta's Westside Provisions District (in the old Ann Mashburn space) featuring MATOUK's bedding, bath and and tabletop accessories with many bespoke options. We will also feature a well edited mix of gifts and monogramming services you know and love from Gramercy. The shop will be a perfect go-to spot to pick up all your holiday gifts, as well as inspiration to update your home linens. We open soon (exact date to be announced) and stay open through February 2013.
We are so honored to be a part of this great, new concept with our friends at Matouk. This pop-up shop marks the first time that the full assortment of MATOUK merchandise is available under one roof.
"Before we've been able to offer a taste of Matouk through our retail partners, now we're thrilled to bring the full breadth of the collection to Atlanta through our great partners at Gramercy," says C.E.O. George Matouk.
Click here to see some of MATOUK newly introduced products to be featured at the shop. I have my eye on those printed guest towels and cocktail napkins.
The Shop will be located at 1198 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta GA 30318
Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm
and
Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm
Stay tuned for our official launch! We look forward to seeing you in two locations!

Bedroom of the Week: Masculine Master
With all the neutral I've been sharing this week it seems only appropriate to balance it with some deep, rich blue. That and a leather headboard I'm just about dying over it is so fabulous. A masculine room that this chic would be happy to call her own.
Bon Weekend!

An Interview with Beth Webb
We are so excited to collaborate with Atlanta's own, Beth Webb of Beth Webb Interiors, for our September window and bed display. Beth's designs have graced the pages of magazines such as House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle and many more.
Tomorrow we reveal both of our front windows! Want a little peek? Check out yesterday's post for a taste of what's to come.
In the meantime, we asked Beth a few questions about her views on designing her dreamiest master bedroom. Check out her answers below:
Gramercy: You design rooms for clients with all
different lifestyles and tastes. When
designing your bedroom, let us know about some of your preferences. For instance, do you prefer a serene space or
a vibrant and colorful space?
BW: In my bedroom
I'm all about a quiet space. When you do what we do, days can be very chaotic
so for me it has always been a sanctuary and a space for rejuvenating! I love
my bedroom and my bed!! What is it they say? You spend one third of your
lifetime there. I think I spend more! I sleep in it, often write in it ( like
right now) eat in it, nap in it, talk on the phone in it... Etc., etc. so it's
important to have all the right parts and pieces!! A great mattress with a
feather bed, high thread count sheeting ( never compromise), a cashmere blanket
( the singularly most extravagant thing I own), down pillows and a wonderful
duvet are a must!
Gramercy: What is your sheeting preference? White, Ivory, or patterned? BW:
I'm a white sheet girl...preferably ironed daily! The ultimate
decadence!
Gramercy: Do you do a
duvet? BW: LOVE! The finest Siberian down or silk!!
I sleep with a duvet every day-all seasons!
Gramercy: Who rules in your room
– the King or the Queen? BW: I had a queen for years,
actually an antique American three quarter with a custom mattress. We had two
children an a huge golden retriever often in the bed with us. I now have a
king-when I had back surgery several years ago I had a dinner party in my bed
with several of my very best friends :-)) !!
Gramercy: What kind of pillows are you plumping? BW:
Both-
on my bed I have six down standard in cases pillows, three down euros, and two
down standard shams. I splurge on pillows, the Princess Alexis by Downtown Down
is the best pillow I've ever found!! My children fight over them!
There is a method to that madness as I know it sounds like
overkill, but for support with reading and watching TV and all, you really use
them!! Most people I know sleep with two pillows, the older you get, the more
issues one has!
Gramercy: How do you skirt around the bedskirt issue?
BW: I like a bedskirt,
I'm a fan of the custom skirt though and one in a heavier fabric so I falls
correctly. I also prefer tailored to a ruffle.
Gramercy: Are furry fritters allowed to sleep in your
bed?
BW: Absolutely!!
That is one reason I like a white sheet. I little bleach can be a good thing! I
have also used a matelasse coverlet or a French Provençal Boutis coverlet. Both
can be thrown in the wash weekly! I LOVE my pups!!
Gramercy: Shed some light on how you make a room glow?
BW: For me personally,
I'm not a fan of overhead lighting. So no chandelier for me in my bedroom. I
do, however, often use them if my clients want them. Always on a dimmer! I DO
not like recessed unless it is for art or we will do mono points over both heads
of the bed, switched separately and on a dimmer for reading. My lamps match,
but for projects it is not a must, although I insist they be the same height.
Gramercy: Do you have a rule for your bedside
preferences?
BW: I have used all
of the above, chests, desks, round, square, tiered, skirted....but I like to
read in bed- most of my clients do too. Storage seems to be the bigger issue
these days!
Gramercy: Do you let a little late night play before
winding down, or is there a no TV rule in your room?
BW: TV's are a fact
of life and a big part of our fast paced world...as a matter of fact I can't
wait until the new season of Downton Abby. January!! Bed party???
I'm not home much, so when I am I curl up and hunker down
-sometimes a rainy Sunday afternoon is spent in bed napping and watching
movies. That is decadence to me!!
Gramercy: Do you have a rule for your bedside preferences?
BW: In every bedroom I
do, there is a chair with an ottoman or chaise with a drink table and lamp. We
will often put in a desk, however, I find they just are there more for
decoration than used. With IPads and IPhones they are not the necessity they
once were. We do more and more hydraulic lifts for the TV at the end of the
bed, they can be in the footboard or in a bench at the end of the bed.

Sunday Splash: Resort Style
I find it only appropriate to close out the Sunday Splash series by featuring one of my favorite pools - the infinity pool at Esperanza. Don't my feet look so happy? Don't head there now as it is r-a-i-n-y season. I went in mid-November and it was pure paradise. I long to revisit this most lovely resort.
A better overview of the pool and property, although my favorite view is the one looking out on an expanse of pool and sea. I especially like that they give you mini foot massages, popsicles and more. My kind of lounging.
Wishing you all a peaceful and RELAXING Sunday!
